How we work together

What matters, made real.

Coaching for how you lead, the choices you make, and the life you’re building.

You may arrive with a specific leadership challenge: a difficult conversation, a team that needs more from you, or a decision you keep putting off.

You may be doing well by every outward measure while wondering whether the work still fits who you are.

We begin wherever you are. Together, we explore what needs attention, clarify what matters, and turn that understanding into choices you can practice in everyday life.

The process

The questions we work through

Every engagement is different. These questions give our work direction while leaving room for what we discover along the way.

  1. What is happening, and what needs to change?

We take an honest look at your situation: the pressures you face, the people involved, what is working, and where you feel stuck.

Sometimes the challenge is exactly what it first appears to be. Sometimes a delegation problem reveals a question about trust. A career decision opens a conversation about identity. A recurring conflict exposes a pattern worth understanding.

Feedback, assessments or conversations with others can help when they serve your goals.

You leave with: a clearer understanding of your situation and the changes you want to make.

  2. What matters most to you here?

We explore what a worthwhile outcome would look like, and why it matters.

That includes your goals, values and responsibilities to others. It may also include ambition, relationships, purpose, or the beliefs that guide your life.

When important priorities compete, we make those tensions visible so you can choose with greater intention.

You leave with: meaningful goals and practical signs that you are moving toward them.

  3. What patterns or assumptions are getting in the way?

We look at the habits that shape your choices, particularly under pressure.

Where do you avoid a conversation? Take back responsibility? React too quickly? Seek approval? Keep pursuing a version of success you no longer want?

We approach these patterns with curiosity and honesty. Understanding them creates more room to respond differently.

You leave with: greater awareness of your patterns and specific alternatives to practice.

  4. What will you practice differently?

Our conversations connect to your actual working life.

You might prepare for a difficult conversation, delegate a decision, establish a boundary, ask for feedback, or make space for something you have neglected.

We choose manageable experiments, then explore what happens when you try them. Between-session support can help you apply the work as situations arise, within the arrangements we agree together.

You leave with: concrete actions and support for putting them into practice.

  5. What are you learning, and how will you carry it forward?

We pause regularly to examine progress.

What has changed in your behavior? What are others noticing? Where are you still getting stuck? Do your original goals still fit?

At a midpoint review, we take stock and adjust our focus. As the engagement concludes, we identify the practices you want to sustain and the support you may need next.

You leave with: an honest picture of your progress and a practical way to continue.

Your work is part of your life.

How you lead affects other people. How you work affects your health, relationships and sense of meaning.

There is room here to explore those connections.

Some clients want to focus closely on their effectiveness as leaders. Others want to examine the relationship between success and fulfillment. Faith, spirituality or contemplative practice can be part of the conversation when they matter to you.

You decide what belongs in our work. My role is to help you think clearly, question honestly and act in ways you can stand behind.

A clear structure. Room for discovery.

We agree on goals, a meeting rhythm and ways to recognize progress. Sessions focus on what is most useful to you, with practical experiments between conversations and regular reflection on what is changing.

These questions are a guide we return to. A new experience may change your understanding of the challenge, or reveal something more important to work on.

The aim is for you to become more capable of making these choices yourself.

Bring the question you’re carrying.

You don’t need a perfectly defined goal to begin.

A conversation about where you are, what you’re facing and what you hope could change is enough to explore whether working together makes sense.
